Job Title: Facilities Assistant (Trolley Retrieval Operative)
Pay Rate: £12.02 per hour
Location: Straiton, Edinburgh
Duration: Various days between 23rd June and 29th June
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Facilities Assistant (Trolley Retrieval Operative) to join our clients team. This role involves assisting in the timely and effective completion of tasks as directed by your Charge hand or Site Supervisor, including collecting and returning trolleys, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and efficient car park area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure optimum car park efficiency by retrieving trolleys and returning them to customer pick-up points.
2. Maintain trolleys in a clean and presentable condition, free of litter.
3. Adhere to safe working procedures for trolley operatives.
4. Assist customers in locating lost vehicles and handle customer complaints and inquiries, referring issues to the direct line manager as needed.
5. Respond positively to reasonable requests from any staff member, customer, or site supervisor.
Requirements:
6. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
7. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
8. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
9. Physical ability to handle trolleys and perform tasks involving walking and standing for extended periods.
10. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
