Skilled Production Operative - Mixer (Days)
Join us on a 12-week FIXED TERM contract with the opportunity to become a permanent member of our team!
Shift Pattern: 4on 4off 5am - 5pm
Pay: £12.28 p/h

Job Description:
Are you passionate about food production and eager to contribute to a high-quality manufacturing process? We are seeking a skilled Mixer to join our team in Ebbw Vale. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of our production, ensuring we consistently deliver top-tier products to our customers.
As a Mixer, you will be responsible for following detailed recipes and processes to create high-quality food products. You'll ensure all materials are accurately weighed, service production lines without interruptions, and keep waste to a minimum. Your role will also involve maintaining high hygiene standards, completing routine quality tests such as pH and salt.
Key Responsibilities:
* Master the art of mixing by understanding all recipes, processes, and production plans.
* Accurately weigh and mix ingredients, ensuring every batch meets strict quality standards.
* Keep production lines running smoothly by ensuring they are consistently supplied with product.
* Minimise waste and record all finished product details, ensuring accurate batch documentation.
* Maintain hygiene throughout your shift and complete all cleaning paperwork at the end of each day.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential.
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, and Hygiene at Level 2.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety in food production.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
