Location: Sheffield / Hybrid Working
(Expectation that you will attend an office 2 days per week)
Contract: 2x 6 Month Fixed Term Contracts available
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
THE ROLE
In this position you will support the portfolio management and valuation processes for the Future Fund portfolio of equity investments. This will involve supporting the delivery of the portfolio administration and direct valuation process in line with policies, external statutory guidance and industry best practice, working closely with key stakeholders including investment and central teams
Key aspects of the role will include maintaining robust financial models to value the direct investment portfolio, along with the associated controls & governance, and managing the data collection requirements to ensure all relevant and appropriate information is considered in the monitoring and valuation of the portfolio companies. You will also be required to assist in the preparation of analysis and reporting output packs for quarterly meetings
With good data analysis, interpretation and judgement skills, you will also have experience of reporting to a variety of stakeholders, and of interpreting and applying accounting, regulatory or other technical requirements. Knowledge of Microsoft suite of software and a wide knowledge of other software is also essential.
