We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and energetic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our highly successful team of mutually supportive colleagues whose shared purpose is to inspire and challenge all students at Atlantic Academy and want to make a difference.
Here at Atlantic Academy Portland, we are seeking to appoint a highly skilled, professional and team orientated person. to be responsible for supporting students across Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4 with a variety of needs. This includes delivery tailored interventions as part of the students’ Education, health and Care Plans (EHCPs), as well as providing essential support for students with physical and medical conditions. Training will be provided.
You will be part of a successful, supportive, well resourced and fully staffed team. We encourage best practice through a variety of CPD opportunities. We are looking to appoint a candidate that puts children first, mitigates barriers to learning, has a can-do approach and will help an individual and individuals make academic progress.
