About the Role: Teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 3 depending on experience and interest. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Use a range of teaching methods and resources, including case studies, simulations, guest speakers, and real-world examples, to bring Business Studies and Economics to life for students. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Business Studies and Economics curricula remain relevant and challenging. Foster a love of business and economics in students, encouraging them to explore the world of commerce and develop their entrepreneurial skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in business and economics education. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics. Demonstrates a passion for teaching these subjects and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment. Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for Business Studies and Economics and relevant examination specifications. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
