Are you a motivated and experienced Theatre ODP looking for a Theatre Team Leader role? If yes, come and join us at Surgical Centre Gillingham, formally known as Will Adams hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Theatre Team Leader to lead our friendly and passionate theatre team who are committed to the high-quality patient care.
At Surgical Centre Gillingham we undertake a range of day case procedures including ophthalmology, orthopaedics, general surgery and endoscopy.
This is a full-time permanent position.
What you'll be doing
As our Theatre Team Leader reporting into our Theatre Manager, Paula, you will be responsible for:
* Leading the department and deputising for the Theatre Manager
* Providing ideas and work practice to improve quality and maintain high standards of evidenced based theatre practice
* Supporting informal and formal HR processes within the department i.e. sickness management, 1:1 meetings and appraisals
* Participating in audit, ordering and stock management processes
What we’ll look for in you
You will be HCPC registered, with:
* 5 years post qualification experience in operating theatre and management processes
* Commitment to your own continuing medical education and professional development
* Able to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision.
