We are seeking to recruit an individual to join our Curriculum Team within the Centre for Medical Education supporting the delivery of service to the Undergraduate Medical Degree programme.
The post holder will provide comprehensive and professional administrative support to the Centre for Medical Education, providing support and guidance on the administration of one Phase of the Undergraduate Medical Degree programme. Located in the C21 Programme Delivery Team, the role holder will work as part of a team dealing with student enquiries regarding the Undergraduate Medical Degree programme.
The role will involve supporting the Year Co-ordinators, students and academic staff with daily administrative duties like management of student attendance, production of handbooks, updating student information and supporting learning materials.
Liaising with colleagues from across the University as well as external stakeholders, senior academics and clinicians will be a significant part of the role so good communication skills and a professional attitude are essential to this post.
Key to this role are being able to work as a team, planning and prioritising your own work and resolving issues and solving problems as they arise.
The post is based at the Heath Park site.
The majority of roles at Cardiff University are currently operating under “blended working” arrangements, with staff having the flexibility to work partly from home and partly from the University campus depending on specific business requirements. This post is part time (17.5 hours per week), available from 13th January 2025 and fixed term until 13th October 2025 to cover a period of maternity leave.
The expected hours of work will be 17.5 hours per week across either 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday. The standard working day for the team is 08:30-16:30. Start and end time for this post is by negotiation with the line manager. Please note that you must be prepared to work Wednesday and Thursday on site.

Salary: £24,600 to £25,433 per annum, pro rata (Grade 3). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
