About the Role:
Rosa Street Primary school is seeking to appoint an innovative and committed leader to work alongside the Head Teacher in our successful school. You will be a creative and dynamic professional with a real passion for teaching and learning.
Rosa Street Primary School is part of Together Learning Partnership, a small, Multi-Academy Trust based in south-west Durham.
Following the successful appointment of our current Deputy Head to the post of Head Teacher, we are looking to appoint a new Deputy who will demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting the ethos of the school and trust. The successful candidate will be approachable and be able to quickly build strong and trusting relationships with our children, staff, parents and carers. They will be warm, creative, and passionate about ensuring that every child gets an excellent education. They will have the energy and inspiration to drive and develop the school forward, but also the sensitivity to preserve its special character.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Can demonstrate excellent standards of teaching and classroom practice.
2. Has a thorough knowledge of the EYFS and Primary Curriculum across both key stages.
3. Is committed to developing the whole child whilst ensuring each and every child achieves their full potential.
4. Has the ability to contribute to the development of a clear strategy and vision for raising pupil achievement and the continuous development of the school.
5. Can demonstrate proven leadership skills that motivate and inspire staff to achieve the highest standards.
6. Has experience and knowledge of EYFS/KS1 and KS2.
7. Has excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills and will use these to raise the profile of the school and further integrate it into the wider community.
