An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join the College of Social Sciences on a permanent basis.
In this role, the successful candidate will support the Deputy & Head of Finance in the delivery of comprehensive, effective and efficient management accounting services for the College of Social Sciences in the following:
• Delivery of month end management accounts, forecasting and budgeting processes in line with set timescales.
• Provide regular, insightful standard month end reporting and analysis for all core activities in support of delivery of KPIs across the College.
• Support the College Finance team in driving a step change in financial awareness and understanding of underlying drivers across the College.
• To continuously improve processes and procedures that support consistent, efficient and effective operations within a strong internal control environment.
• To support the provision of an efficient and effective service to the College stakeholders for all financial and operational reporting and processes.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open ended basis. Please note that at least 28 hours per week will also be considered. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
