Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and manage all purchase ledger transactions, ensuring timely and accurate entry of invoices and payments.
2. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Maintain and update the purchase ledger, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
4. Assist with preparing payment runs and ensuring payments are processed in a timely manner.
5. Support the finance team with month-end and year-end procedures.
6. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any queries.
7. Assist with audits and provide financial reports as required.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Profile
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or in a similar finance role.
2. Strong knowledge of purchase ledger and accounting procedures.
3. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
4. Excellent organisational, numerical, and communication skills.
5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. A proactive and professional approach to work.
