You will need to be flexible with hours of work as you will need to work afternoons, evenings, and on the odd occasion overnight.
What you'll be doing
As the Operations Lead in our North West London OOH (Out of Hours) GP service, you will be line managing and supervising operational staff to ensure the smooth running of our service. You would be monitoring and evaluating their performance, conducting yearly appraisals, one-to-one’s, and audits. As well as current staff, you would also be involved in the recruitment and training of new staff and workshops for new and current employees as required.
You will be working closely with other leads, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. This will involve preparing statistical data as required for meetings as well as discussing plans on how to improve the service.
You will have proven experience in line managing or being capable of managing a team. As such, you will also have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to show empathy and fairness towards others whilst also being able to be firm and encouraging when implementing change.
You will be a confident problem solver with the ability to make decisions under pressure, able to help those that report to you as well as other managerial staff. For both your day-to-day role and your reporting, you will also be confident with Microsoft Office and comfortable with analyzing data.
