Job description: Resource & Training Coordinator The position is within the JN Bentley Resources & Training Team based in our Head Office at Skipton. This team is responsible for guaranteeing the efficient deployment of our labour workforce in order to support our site-based operational teams, as well as the training of all employees. Every year we invest upward of £1 million in training, delivering a variety of practical hands-on courses to enable our people to work safely and competently and have the training the require to fulfil their roles. The role will be varied and the ideal candidate should have: Excellent organisational and IT skills. Be able to communicate effectively and precisely both written and verbally. Be able to work confidently both independently and within a team. Desirable Experience within a resourcing / training administration role Experience working within a similar industry such as construction or civils. The Role Of a Resource & Training Coordinator Includes Liaising with training attendees and training providers. Scheduling and booking training courses in line with compliance criteria, including making calls to employees to fill courses Maintaining employee records and processing online bookings. Raising supplier purchase orders. Dealing with queries on the phone, by email and via Microsoft Teams. Completing timesheets Updating resource deployment forecasts and systems This is a diverse role that strikes a balance between multitasking, administrative responsibilities, and task prioritisation. You will provide support to Lead Training Coordinators and Resource managers and communicate with our employees, contracts managers, site agents and training providers, amongst other important parties. You will need to be able to adapt to changes and be able respond quickly and handle adjustments to previously agreed-upon arrangements. Full time hours – You will be based at our office in Skipton, but we do offer hybrid working arrangements.
