Geotechnical Reporting Manager / Great Yarmouth / Full-Time Permanent / Salary £50,000 per annum. Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Reporting Manager to join our client, a reputable engineering services company. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in offshore geotechnical data acquisition and report delivery, including team leadership and quality control. You will lead a team of geotechnical engineers and play a key role in the development and delivery of geotechnical reports to clients. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and management to a team of geotechnical project engineers, including performance management, coaching, and development. Oversee technical input and quality control of geotechnical data throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. Coordinate the submission of geotechnical reports, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards. Manage all aspects of an offshore site investigation project, from tendering to final deliverables, including laboratory testing and advanced data acquisition methods. Develop methodologies, calculations, and deliverables in line with current industry standards and client requirements. Assist with technical input to tenders, working under the direction of senior management. Promote safety within the working environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and setting a positive example for the team. The successful Geotechnical Reporting Manager will have a minimum BSc or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences or Civil Engineering, along with extensive experience in offshore geotechnical data acquisition, including the processing and interpretation of CPT data and seabed samples. They will also have proven experience in producing geotechnical reports, maintaining industry-standard methodologies for data processing and reporting, and a strong track record of mentoring and training geotechnical engineers, with management experience being preferred but not essential. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, based at the Great Yarmouth office.
