Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
NHS Borders is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician to join our Estates department. You will be part of a small team responsible for providing technical support across NHS Borders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform operational maintenance and repairs within a hospital or similar complex environment.
2. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
3. Possess multi-skilled capabilities and communicate effectively at all levels.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Operational knowledge of maintenance software programs is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

NHS Scotland is reducing the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours starting 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This change will be reflected in the contract. Some staff may work up to an additional 30 minutes per week temporarily until rosters are adjusted.
