This Quality Engineering CMM QA Inspection job could suit a Quality Engineer, QA Inspector or a QC Technician from a manufacturing background that can read engineering drawings.
Responsibilities:
1. Quality Inspection of high precision metal components
2. Develop your skills in quality engineering and programming CMM coordinate measurement machines
3. Interpret engineering drawings to check first off finished products for dimensional accuracy
4. Work with other engineers in the business to understand engineering drawings and identify errors or inaccuracies on metal finished goods
Requirements:
1. Able to understand engineering drawings, with the attitude to learn new skills and ask when uncertain about new products
2. Some experience of programming CMM equipment, or some transferrable skills in CAD CAM CNC and an interest in learning new skills in CMM programming from CAD drawings
3. The ability to work to deadlines is important, but this is a low-volume high accuracy workplace so it is important to have a good attitude towards accuracy
