An exciting vacancy has arisen for a registered nurse to work in the Medical Day (infusions) Unit which provides a 6-day service for ambulatory patients. We work closely with medicine, surgery, urology, haematology, rheumatology, endocrinology, oncology, and gastroenterology implementing planned care and investigations in a nurse-led outpatient setting.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside members of the MDT in the above specialties while expanding your own knowledge and experience with clinical conditions and treatments.
Main Duties of the Job
The main duties of the role include:
1. Carrying out assessments of patients
2. Performing observations
3. Venepuncture and cannulation
4. Assisting with investigations
5. Implementing planned care to provide holistic individualized care

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register
* Evidence of ongoing professional development within a hospital setting
* Teaching qualification
* Diploma/Degree in Nursing or related field
Experience
* Ability to work unsupervised at times

* Pre-registration clinical experience
* Post-registration clinical experience
* Evidence of change management
* Experience of discharge planning
* Experience in an acute setting

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year (pro rata)
