The Role We are looking for a Senior Fire Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead projects, manage both technical and commercial aspects, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining a client-focused approach. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed engineering reports, conducting fire safety analysis, and representing the company in client and approval authority meetings. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage multiple fire engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and successful project outcomes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and graduates, fostering a collaborative team environment. Stay up to date with industry advancements and work toward Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Proactively identify and resolve high-risk fire safety issues, consulting with senior team members as needed. Ideal Candidate Profile We’re looking for someone who: Holds a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Fire Engineering or a related field. Has strong technical proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. Values a balance between in-office collaboration and flexible working. Has significant experience in fire engineering consulting, ideally within the UK construction industry. Understands UK construction processes, project procurement, and RIBA stages. Is actively pursuing or already holds Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Can effectively manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Brings a strong technical fire engineering skillset, with expertise in emerging technologies or methodologies.
