PERSON SPECIFICATION

JOB TITLE: Plant and Waste Co-Ordinator
SALARY: Competitive
RESPONSIBLE TO: Commercial Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for sourcing and booking skips and plant hire for all sites. Confirming bookings, chasing delayed deliveries/returns and completion of relevant paperwork in line with legal requirements.
2. Review of current suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
3. Arrange permits where required.
4. Raising and adding to purchase orders on Sage to include running monthly reports. Matching purchase orders, invoices and delivery dockets and filing records.
5. To update relevant in-house systems as required to ensure compliance.
6. To source, procure and maintain all company stock items.
7. To build and maintain relationships with current and new suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
8. To communicate costs, allowances and forecasted issues to all relevant departments to include QS, Site Managers and Project Managers.
9. Making sure waste transfer notes are returned from site and/or requested from supplier.
10. Processing relevant invoices and recording invoices on spreadsheet.
11. To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, FSC and Investors in People Standards.
12. Any other duties required for the effective operation of the post as deemed by Management.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
1. GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent.
2. Relevant experience in a similar role within the construction fit-out industry.
3. Experience of using Sage.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Desirable
1. NVQ in Business Administration or equivalent.
