Job Title: Team Leader Childrens Residential Home (Permanent, Full-Time) Location: Holywood, Northern Ireland Salary: £33,696 per annum (pro-rata) Hours: 40 hours per week (Rota basis, including weekends and unsocial hours) Total Care Recruitment is helping to recruit a dedicated Team Leader for a Childrens Residential Home in Holywood. In this role, you will support children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviors, enabling them to live a valued and meaningful life. Key Responsibilities: Engage with children to support life skills development through activities. Maintain a safe and high-quality care environment. Build rapport with children and provide emotional support. Lead and supervise a team of Child Residential Workers. Develop therapeutic interventions alongside the management team. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to safeguarding, incident management, and childrens care. Essential Criteria: A Level 6 qualification in Social Work. Registered with NISCC. Minimum 1 years experience working with challenging behaviors and children with autism/learning disabilities. Experience in managing staff or leading a team. Ability to work flexibly on a rota, including weekends and unsocial hours. Desirable Criteria: Knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support, CPI, or similar qualifications. Experience in a residential care setting for individuals with learning disabilities. You will also have to complete an Enhanced Access NI application.
