Job/Position Summary
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Design and develop user interfaces for software applications, ensuring an intuitive and visually appealing user experience.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective UI/UX designs.
* Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and facilitate discussions with project teams.
* Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather user feedback and iterate on design solutions.
* Define and maintain UI/UX design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
* Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the software development process.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, technologies, and industry standards, and propose innovative ideas to enhance user experiences.
* Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure the successful implementation of UI designs, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including style guides, design patterns, and user flow diagrams.
* Participate in project meetings, providing UI/UX expertise and contributing to discussions on product design and strategy.
Skills Required:
* Proven experience (3-7 years) in UI/UX design, preferably in a software development or technology environment for the automotive industry.
* Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design projects and demonstrating proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
* Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
* Experience with user research methodologies, including conducting user interviews, usability testing, and persona development.
* Proficiency in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly designs.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
