Job Title: Fitness Instructor
Location: TheRoyal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath
Qualifications:
* Certification in group fitness instruction or equivalent qualification.
* Expertise in various fitness disciplines such as Zumba, HIIT, indoor cycling, Strong by Zumba, total body conditioning, yoga, Pilates, and functional fitness.
* Strong understanding of cardiovascular and muscular training principles.
* Ability to provide safe and effective workouts for participants of all fitness levels.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Duties:
* Coordinate and lead a variety of fitness classes including Dance Fit/Zumba, HIIT, indoor cycling, Strong by Zumba, total body conditioning, yoga, Pilates, and functional fitness.
* Design and implement suitable warm-up routines for each class to prepare participants for the main workout.
* Lead dynamic and engaging workout sessions tailored to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and strength.
* Incorporate muscular resistance training exercises targeting specific areas such as Air Force push-up and sit-up testing, posture, balance, and stabilization.
* Provide clear instructions for exercises and ensure participants perform movements with proper form to prevent injuries.
* Address specific fitness goals such as improving stamina, speed, and overall fitness level to meet Air Force fitness standards.
* Conduct cool down sessions and stretches at the end of each class to aid in recovery and flexibility.
* Maintain a motivating and inclusive environment to encourage participant engagement and adherence to fitness goals.
* Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and best practices to continually enhance the fitness program offerings.
