Role Overview
Lead and manage your store or designated business area effectively, motivating and coaching your team to deliver exceptional customer service, uphold store standards, and foster high engagement among colleagues.
Responsibilities
1. Support the Store Manager in leading and motivating a high-performing team.
2. Create a culture focused on exceptional customer service to exceed customer expectations and foster loyalty.
3. Develop store teams through internal programs to support talent growth and career development.
4. Ensure a safe and compliant environment for colleagues and customers.
5. Achieve or surpass financial targets.
6. Support other retail management duties as required.
7. Act as the point of contact in the Store Manager’s absence.
8. Provide excellent customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Manage daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
10. Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
11. Provide coaching to improve team performance.
12. Maintain colleague schedules for optimal coverage and productivity.
Role Objectives and KPIs
1. Contribute to achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets.
2. Drive KPIs such as Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
3. Meet upselling and cross-selling goals.
4. Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
5. Ensure stock accuracy during audits.
6. Complete mandatory training for new colleagues.
7. Achieve employee satisfaction and engagement survey benchmarks.
8. Manage operational costs within budget.
Skills and Experience
* Strong coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
* Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
* Minimum of 2 years management experience, preferably in retail.
* Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and promote local brand growth.
* Passion for customer service and store performance improvement.
* Solid understanding of retail KPIs, cost control, and sales growth.
* Knowledge of local market trends and community opportunities.
* Decisive, inspiring, resilient, and positive under pressure.
