Claims Handler - Vehicle Repair
Start Date: January 13th
Hours: 37.5 Hour per week. Monday- Friday 9am-5:30pm. This is a Hybrid position and you will be required to be in our Leicester office 1 day per week after your training.
Location: Our fantastic Leicester office which is in the city centre and only a short walk from Leicester train station.
Salary: £23,500
Training: 4 weeks - Fully in the office
Role purpose
You will be part of a busy and fast-paced department that is responsible for providing support to our customers who have been involved in a road traffic accident, regardless of fault. Your role will involve communicating with our customers through both verbal and written means, and discussing their options when their vehicle has been deemed repairable.
Our main objective is to get our customer back on the road as quickly as possible.
As a repairable vehicle claims handler you will prioritise giving our customer a smooth journey throughout the process. You will be proactive with your caseload and keep our customers up to date with the repair journey of their vehicle.
It is crucial to speak confidently and provide accurate information right from the beginning to avoid any confusion and ensure a seamless customer journey.

What will you be doing?
* Making our customers claim repair journey as smooth as possible by proactively chasing updates from suppliers, updating, and setting expectations with our customers, to settle claims at the earliest opportunity.
* Validating claims and policies.
* Ensuring system information is up to date and accurate. Demonstrating effective planning and organisational skills.
* Making and taking calls from internal and external stakeholders.
* Working towards department and business targets.
* Referring any suspected fraud cases to our Specialist Unit.
* Payment processing.
