One of our key operational arms is the Energy Division (ED) which regulates Great Britain's on and offshore Oil and Gas Industry pipelines, mines, diving and renewables sector.
We are now looking for two Pipeline Engineering Specialists to join our ED on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Pipeline Engineering Specialist, you will regulate pipeline integrity, ensuring compliance with safety standards for both onshore and offshore pipelines across the UK. Specifically, you will:
- Assess safety cases
- Investigate incidents
- Provide expert advice to HSE teams, industry stakeholders, and relevant authorities on pipeline engineering matters
- Investigate incidents or complaints as part of a multidiscipline team dealing with enforcement or supporting others as necessary on technical aspects
- Prepare technical reports / expert evidence for various levels of legal proceedings
- Inspect (on/offshore), completing reports and issuing different levels of enforcement depending on the risk present
About You
To be considered as a Pipeline Engineering Specialist, you will need:
- Significant practical experience in pipeline engineering and pipeline integrity management in either onshore or offshore environments
- Substantial knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, relevant codes, and standards
- Expertise in anomaly management, risk-based inspections, and maintenance planning
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Pipeline Engineering or a closely related subject
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status within a relevant institution
- A full, valid driving licence or the ability to fulfil the role using other transport methods
