We are looking for people to join our team who have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives and staff in our busy and rewarding department. To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a similar role. You will be flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure. You are a team-player and enjoy working as part of a team. You will work closely with our reception team and other colleagues within the department. We have two part - time opportunities available in our team as follows: 2 days per week, 15 hours (Monday and Tuesday) 3 days per week, 22.5 hours (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) Main duties of the job In this role, you will make a difference first point of contact for our patients and relatives at reception. You will be the first friendly face they see and will greet them in a friendly and courteous manner. You will answer all telephone and e-mail enquiries, taking and relaying messages in a polite and helpful manner and taking action to resolve as appropriate. You will also: Maintain patient details / appointments efficiently on the patient administration system.
