Role: Religious Education Teacher As a Religious Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of faith. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of Catholicism, and other world religions, while promoting a compassionate, reflective approach to life. Your role will include: Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Religious Education lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5). Encouraging students to apply Religious values and ethical principles in their personal lives. Supporting students in their spiritual development, providing guidance and pastoral care when needed. Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education that reflects the Catholic ethos of the school. Contributing to the development of the Religious Education curriculum. Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Education. Ensuring the effective delivery of the Religious Education syllabus. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Religious Education department. Key Qualities We Are Looking For: A strong personal commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and a desire to support students' faith journeys. A recognised teaching qualification in Religious Education, or equivalent. Experience in teaching Religious Education to secondary-aged students is highly desirable. A passion for developing young people both academically and spiritually. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
