This position also provides the opportunity to acquire more experience on wide variety of critical device, with an opportunity to attend OEM and in house training courses. Our Clinical Engineering Department is an expanding and constantly evolving work place, with exciting future opportunities to grow and progress. Main duties of the job To help maintain and upkeep of medical devices in the hospital as recommended by the device manufacturers. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of clinical equipment to ensure that the manufacturer's functional and safety specifications are met. Working on Medical equipment database to keep a complete and accurate technical records of work performed. Assisting in general day to day working of the department, helping Clinical staff with technical issue relating to medical devices, liaising with Device manufacturers and helping in maintaining stock levels. Be part of regular in house and OEM training courses with a view to keep abreast with the latest clinical and technical developments in Clinical Engineering.
