Role Description: To define and implement processes and make recommendations to product development teams to reduce the probability of harm to patients or users of Clinisys products. Conduct clinical risk assessments for Clinisys products. Responsibilities: Develop and implement clinical risk management processes. Develop risk mitigation plans in conjunction with Product Development teams. Perform clinical risk evaluations on incidents or defects, identify root cause, and make recommendations on mitigations. Interface with external Clinical personnel relative to risks/mitigations identified. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Deep understanding of software functionality/useability/intended purpose and infrastructure used in Health IT systems. Application of Risk Assessment processes for product and process in a clinical domain. Ability to recognize how errors in a Health IT system can result in patient or user harm and to recommend mitigations or controls accordingly Ability to create and implement clinical risk management plans Moderate understanding of software development processes and product lifecycle Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a health or scientific discipline. Qualified and experienced Clinician with current registration in a relevant professional clinical related field.
