Eden Scott's client is seeking a Investment Account Assistant to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of investment products, client servicing, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in managing client investment portfolios, monitoring asset performance, and preparing investment reports.
2. Conduct research on market trends, asset classes, and investment strategies to support client engagement.
3. Maintain accurate records of client accounts, ensuring all transactions and investment activities are processed efficiently.
4. Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing insights on portfolio performance, fund selections, and investment opportunities.
5. Ensure all client interactions adhere to financial regulations and company policies.
6. Generate and analyse financial reports, highlighting key insights for both internal teams and clients.
7. Work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to align client investment strategies with market conditions.
8. Identify and implement enhancements to improve client engagement and operational efficiency.
Person Specification:
1. Experience in client account management, financial services, or investment operations.
2. Strong analytical skills with an understanding of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets.
3. Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
4. Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, or similar).
5. A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Additional Requirements:
1. Proven experience in an operational role preferably with exposure to funds and corporate clients in Financial Services.
2. High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
3. Strong time management, capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
