We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an experienced clinician with education experience to join the Clifton Education team based at Nottingham Trent University, you will be required to support education provision across education sites. The role of Clinical Educator is an important role within EMAS Education and contributes to the delivery of taught programmes, as well as supporting divisional practice development and annual educational updates. This is a particularly exciting time in education and EMAS have a range of students/learners accessing the Paramedic Apprenticeship, First Response Emergency Care (FREC) pathway (Technician) and clinical induction programmes. We provide learning & development related to the Newly Qualified Paramedic (NQP) and Newly Qualified Technician (NQT) Programme. You will need to be confident to teach and assess across the range of educational provision. The successful applicant will be supported by a designated Senior Clinical Educator and will be required to undertake the necessary qualifications required for the post. Main duties of the job To take responsibility as part of the Education and Organisational Learning team for providing professional education, training and learning opportunities within the Ambulance Education Centre. To work in collaboration with managerial colleagues to provide assessment and mentoring opportunities that will contribute to the improvement in the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes. To provide educational support and guidance to divisional management teams such as divisional senior clinical leads, station managers and their team members in order to improve the dissemination of learning within divisions and facilitate the continuing professional development of staff.
