At Duke of Lancaster, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of students with complex moderate learning difficulties. We are seeking a skilled and passionate SEND Teacher to join our team and help create an inspiring, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
The position is likely to be in a Primary class; however, our teachers are flexible and may move between Primary and Secondary, depending on the needs of the school. We believe in fostering adaptability and collaboration within our team to provide the best support for our students.
As part of our commitment to delivering outstanding education, you will work across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, supporting the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of our students through innovative, trauma-informed teaching practices.

Your Role:
* Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to small groups or individuals, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
* Foster self-confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging within the school community.
* Use Trauma-Informed Care and Conscious Discipline techniques to support behaviour regulation and personal growth.
* Collaborate with parents, external agencies, and colleagues to develop individualised learning plans and strategies for success.
* Lead educational activities, manage support staff, and contribute to school-wide development initiatives.
