Graphic Designer (Maternity Cover - 9 month)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Bid Management Team on a 9 month contract.
You will generate eye catching content that initiates a professional and powerful impression in the minds of our new business prospects and customers going out to retender.
This role is integral to the business creating industry leading proposals and contributing to an increased win rate of bids.
What you'll be doing;
* Ensure all artwork uses high quality imagery, is creative and engaging and suitable for external audiences
* Provide eye catching and compelling designs across a range of media and to stay up to date with design software
* Adhere to brand guidelines whilst pushing the boundaries to be as innovative and eye-catching as possible
* Stay up to date with design developments, leverage opportunities to learn and ensure our proposal media and designs are ever evolving, and share ideas with the wider team
* Provide professional input and assist other business units (i.e. marketing) as required on an ad hoc basis
* Manage the bid team design workload, assign briefs to the Artworker and review all design work produced
What we are looking for:
* Must be an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite; most importantly Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Proficient in both Microsoft Word and Powerpoint programs; creating templates in Adobe and hosting them in Microsoft, creating and designing large Powerpoint presentations, designing strong layouts for colleagues to work from.
* Must be familiar with creating large brochures in Adobe InDesign, and creating ad-hoc artwork within spec guidelines, all in readiness for the print-process
* Strong design skills / proven experience in artworking and production
* Strong layout and typography skills
* Proactive and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
