Receptionist/Office Administrator at a Fast-Growing London Office
December/January Start Date
Office based - Wimbledon
£26,000 - £28,000 + benefits (free corporate gym membership)
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, organised receptionist to join our great operations team.
The Harnham Group is the parent company of two businesses based in Wimbledon, and as we have expanded our London office to take over two more floors, we are looking for someone new to support us. The receptionist role would work closely with operations manager and run our front desk and our office phone.
The receptionist role will include being the first point of contact for the business, you will be welcoming everyone into the building, assisting the office manager and answering the phones.
Receptionist duties:
* Be the first impression for all visitors and staff.
* Managing the reception area, greeting and welcoming visitors.
* Answering and redirecting calls.
* Supplying and maintaining refreshments for the reception area.
* Maintaining a clean, presentable, and safe reception environment.
* Handling incoming post/deliveries and supporting courier arrangements.
* Providing ad hoc administrative support.
* Identify opportunities for improvement.
Office Administration Duties:
* Ensure the office is a comfortable, clean and enjoyable place for all staff to attend.
* Be responsible for coordinating all building maintenance.
* Coordinate all efforts related to the company Health and Safety program (First Aid, Fire Safety, Compliance)
* Build relationships with suppliers (HVAC engineers, Cleaners, Vending Company)
* Assist with building security (access control, visitor passes, alarm testing etc.)
* Assist with ad hoc event management (End of year parties, Summer parties etc)
* Updating internal policies and procedures.
* Maintain all office supplies.
* Identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
* Great organizational and communication skills
* A high degree of flexibility
* An ability to work autonomously
* Experience in a receptionist or administrative role would be ideal
