About the role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students. This full-time, long-term position invites you to utilize your expertise and creativity to inspire young minds, helping to deliver engaging lessons while supporting the teaching staff in a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. Your contributions will be invaluable in nurturing a positive learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent role in a primary school setting.
• A Level 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Support students in their learning, providing guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.
• Work with small groups and individual students to provide targeted interventions.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform future planning.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and engagement.
