We very much promote flexible working with the ability to work remotely from a variety of bases as well as on occasions from home, to ensure we provide the best service to the children we work with and their families. There is a service expectation to work a minimum of 2 days a week in a local office.
Salary: £56,433 - £64,951 per annum pro rata in addition to a minimum commitment of £5k training and development in the first year alone, which will include Signs of Safety, Family Finding Model and Systemic Practice + a relocation package of up to £8k.

As Group Manager of Early Help, you will lead the overall development and delivery of the service in the central locality, whilst also holding a countywide portfolio, providing clear leadership to enable managers to perform at their best. The role of Group Manager is dynamic and diverse, requiring a confident, autonomous individual to drive forward practice and influence stakeholders, partners, and colleagues. We are looking for an innovative professional with strategic managerial experience who is driven, astute, inspirational, and a great communicator. As Group Manager, you will demonstrate real leadership in a challenging and evolving sector by shaping and driving the practice across the locality whilst also utilising and developing your skills and knowledge.
We understand the importance of investing in our workforce, and as such you will be well supported to effectively deliver and improve services. In addition, you will receive a minimum commitment of £5k towards your training and development in the first year alone, which will include Signs of Safety, the Family Finding model and Systemic Practice.
You will be responsible for the management of significant financial resources and ensure that the service delivers within nationally defined regulations and standards. In addition, you will have a sound knowledge of the Ofsted Inspection Framework, and a good understanding of the diverse needs of children and their families. An understanding of Youth Justice Services, Supporting Families, and Reducing Parental Conflict would be advantageous.
