Project Management Officer, IT PMO, is required by an East Cheshire based company, there is a car and a bonus on offer as well as a a salary upto 60k and an element of Hybrid working too.
You will report into the CIO and be responsible for the oversight and management of the project portfolio across IT.
This role ensures the successful delivery of IT initiatives by implementing best practices, optimising resource allocation (including budgets), and maintaining alignment with business objectives. The IT PMO Manager will drive project excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement and will be required to be fully engaged in the project process at all stages, including acting as the Project Manager on projects as required. As a member of the IT management team, you will be expected to demonstrate adaptability by occasionally taking on additional responsibilities.

Experience:
Experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing IT projects and leading a PMO.
Demonstrable experience in portfolio management, governance, and resource management.
Technical Expertise:
Technical background with knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Leadership:
Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
