About the Role
We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead a team of six skilled Mechanical Technicians. This role is approximately 70% hands-on vehicle work and 30% supervisory duties. You will oversee high-quality restoration projects while actively contributing to mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of six technicians, ensuring high standards of work.
- Carry out hands-on restoration, repair, and maintenance work on vintage vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in traditional petrol engines, ignition, and electrical systems.
- Work on engine building, gearboxes, braking, transmission, and suspension systems.
- Ensure all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a focus on craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and timely completion of jobs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive hands-on experience with classic and vintage vehicles.
- First-class knowledge of carburettor fuel systems, distributor ignition, and traditional electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply good engineering practice.
- Ability to manage a team, provide guidance, and ensure smooth workflow.
- Self-motivated, efficient, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
