ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of my client’s ongoing expansion and confirmed future workload, they have identified the need to recruit a permanent Senior Remediation Engineer to assist with the technical delivery of remediation and enabling projects. The role will be split between the office in Essex and sites throughout the South East of England (although the majority of the time will be based on site).
REQUIREMENTS
As a Senior Remediation Engineer, you will ideally hold 3 years post graduate experience in a related discipline, ideally with a significant portion of this time spent on site.
Knowledge of soil description, sampling, soil and groundwater remedial approaches, and earthworks practices is desirable, although full training will be provided.
A valid driving license is essential as the role will involve a reasonable amount of travel as projects are undertaken throughout the UK. There may be a need for you to work away from home (full subsistence will be covered) so if / when required, you must be willing to do this.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals who are looking to earn anywhere between £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, a generous benefits package will be offered which includes an annual bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays), a 5% employer pension contribution, the option to enrol in a healthcare benefits scheme, payment of professional membership fees, and support towards achieving professional qualifications.
In addition to this, excellent career development opportunities within this thriving and expanding business will also be available for the right professional who demonstrates drive and ambition.
