Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to join our UK leadership team. This pivotal role involves managing and steering our sales teams across various segments, including infrastructure, industry, and building. You will also oversee the commercial excellence team and the technical sales office team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage sales teams to achieve sales targets and reliable forecasting.
2. Actively participate in the UK leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making.
3. Collaborate with the VP and broader leadership team to develop and execute an ambitious commercial strategy.
4. Build and maintain a portfolio of key clients, including asset owners, consultants, main contractors, resellers, and installers.
5. Develop and implement best-in-class sales processes and coaching programs to enhance team performance.
6. Continuously improve the effectiveness and profitability of sales activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably within the infrastructure, industry, or building segments.
2. High level of commercial and strategic awareness.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
6. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
