An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 4 Commercial Waste Enforcement Officers to join our Environmental Health team on a permanent basis.

Position Details
Our Commercial Waste Enforcement Officers provide advice and guidance to the business community on appropriate methods of waste production, storage, disposal, and uplift.
The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and taking enforcement action. Excellent communication skills and IT skills are essential requirements of the role.
Previous experience of enforcement, dealing with conflict situations, a current driving licence, and a qualification in relation to waste issues are desirable.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35
Work Pattern: working across Monday Sunday on a 12-week rota
Annual Salary: £24,183.81 - £25,716.37 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £2,091 and a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £714.
