Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist
We are seeking an enthusiastic newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team. The successful candidate will work with us to help create an environment where our pupils can flourish, learn and develop.
About the Role
This is a part-time position, 5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:00-13:00. The contract is permanent, term-time only, 42 weeks, with the possibility of increasing to full-time (52 weeks) if desired.
Key responsibilities include working under the supervision of a senior speech and language therapist to complete a preceptorship year, implementing a holistic approach to helping pupils in their daily lives, providing information and training to staff and other agencies, and contributing to the team's efforts to support pupil outcomes.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc Hons)
* Ability to assess young people's needs and formulate treatment plans
* Effective communication skills, including with families, carers, Local Authorities and wider communities
* Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
* Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
