Located in the heart of Guildford town centre, you’ll have the chance to work on dynamic projects spanning international markets focused on environmental technologies.
As an award-winning industry leader in creating world-class B2B conferences and exhibitions, they are looking for someone who’s ready to dive into researching, developing, and delivering senior executive-level conferences in Europe and North America.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will be varied and rewarding, with responsibilities including:
1. Exploring key topics, emerging business issues, and new technologies to inspire fresh conferences.
2. Staying ahead of industry trends to keep our events cutting-edge.
3. Recruiting senior-level speakers through engaging telephone research.
4. Crafting high-quality conference programs based on in-depth research and discussions with professionals, NGOs, and trade associations.
5. Keeping an eye on competitor events to ensure our offering remains top tier.
6. Traveling internationally to attend trade fairs, conferences, and network with industry leaders.
7. Supporting our sales team to identify sponsors and revenue opportunities.
8. Creating marketing content, managing social media, and building partnerships with trade organisations and media.
9. Coordinating with speakers to ensure smooth delivery of presentations.
10. Collaborating on the design and promotion of conference materials.
11. Overseeing on-site event delivery and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
12. Gathering valuable feedback from attendees, speakers, and exhibitors.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
1. At least 12 months’ experience in commercial B2B events, publishing, market research, or media.
2. Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.
3. A proactive mindset with an entrepreneurial flair for identifying opportunities.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
5. Outstanding research and writing abilities.
