As a Bank worker, you will be part of a flexible workforce and have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience by working in different areas in the Trust. We need workers who are available to work a variety of shift types, sometimes at short notice.
Main duties of the job
1. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of evidence-based care (according to specialism).

1. Perform comprehensive assessment of patients' nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care delivery according to changing health needs.
2. Collect, collate and report information, maintaining accurate patient records in line with NMC recommendations and Trust policy.
3. Participate in maintaining a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment for all patients and carers.
4. Involve patients and carers/family members in the planning and delivery of care.
5. Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure needs are met in relation to care input and support for ongoing care needs.

4. Contribute to the development of services and make realistic suggestions on how services could be improved for patients and their relatives.
5. Ensure the effective and efficient use of physical resources.
6. Monitor and maintain the environment to ensure the health, safety, and security of self and others.
Education and Development
1. Develop own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.
2. Ensure own compliance and compliance of others with regard to mandatory training and NMC requirements.
3. Act as a mentor and assessor of nurses in training and newly qualified nurses.
