Operations Director at Department | CIPD Level 5 in HR Management
Key Responsibilities
1. Head of Marketing will execute a multi-channel strategy to deliver brand awareness, lead generation, market presence and revenue growth for Department’s workspace portfolio. The role requires a varied approach across brand marketing, creative design and digital marketing.
2. Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy aligned to business objectives including lead generation, member retention and brand building.
3. Prepare regular reports on marketing priorities, KPIs and market insights.
4. Lead and brief the Digital Marketing Manager, working closely to review the digital strategy performance and recommend improvements for future campaigns across PPC, SEO/SEM, email, social and lead generation.
5. Review and approve all written communications, marketing designs, events and signage to ensure consistency in brand voice and visual identity.
6. Manage the annual marketing budget.
7. Manage external agency briefings and project updates, including content creation, PR, design, web tech and CRM, to ensure all KPIs are met with a cost-effective service.
8. Collaborate with Sales and Operations to plan and deliver campaigns aligned to new openings, office availability and member retention strategies.
9. Work closely with the PR agency to write press releases, attend industry events, and provide key updates for the media to promote the business.
10. Write all marketing communications for internal updates and external marketing campaigns including website copy, community emails, blogs, social media and events marketing.
11. Coordinate photography and videography needed for the business, briefing agencies for photoshoots.
12. Produce and design marketing materials to enhance the sales and member experience including social media assets, marketing brochures, member handbooks and events posters.
13. Organise and promote event opportunities to attract external footfall and increase new business opportunities, including open days, panel events and brand activations.
14. Oversee the Community events program to elevate the brand experience and increase member engagement.
15. Develop local and regional partnerships that add value to members and strengthen Department’s presence in the business community.
16. Champion the member community to build relations and identify opportunities to promote success stories to attract and retain members.
17. Manage the CRM database and apply GDPR best practices.
