The opportunity: Bookkeeper, based in Leyland.
This is a well-rounded role to help SME's with their Bookkeeping needs.
The role:
The key responsibilities of this Bookkeeping role are:
1. Reviewing and completing VAT returns – partial exemption knowledge good but not essential
2. General bookkeeping i.e bank/credit card recociliation’s
3. Inputting sales and purchase invoices onto software
4. Unravelling bank reconciliations that don’t balance
5. Submitting confirmation statements to companies house
The Successful Applicant:
6. Sufficient experience in a practice environment
7. Expert knowledge and skills in bookkeeping and reconciliation
8. Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ambitious and persistent, self-motivated and able to work to targets
10. Good organisational and time management skills.
11. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional customer service
12. Knowledge ideally of accounting systems such as Sage, Iris, QuickBooks, Xero and FreeAgent
