We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to train on how to Transport Plan for a busy 3PL company solely working with Class 1 vehicles, using various different systems The Details: Salary: £27K Per Annum Monday-Friday Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week Monthly Pay Parking Onsite Trainee Transport Planner Duties: Maintenance and Management of the Transport Management System (TMS). Ensure effective and efficient use of driver and vehicle resources. Ensuring customer requirements are administered. Liaise, support and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers Promote effective and efficient standards of work, in order to comply with transport legislation, company policy and Health & Safety legislation. Managing Driver hours, WTD rules. Preparing and submitting various KPI reports. Undertake any other duties that are reasonably requested. Trainee Transport Planner Requirements: ‘Right To Work’ in the UK Good communication skills are essential with the ability to express empathy with customers Excellent written and verbal skills are essential. Experience resolving disputes in a fair and calm manner and be able to identify issues, which could potentially become problematic and avoid situations arising. Strong geographical knowledge Knowledge of transport systems. Good ‘people skills’ for working with a range of colleagues and customers.
