We’re looking for a Labourer to join our site team at Anchor Repairs & Property Services (ARPS), supporting repairs and maintenance for sheltered, retirement, and care homes for the over-55s. As a Labourer, you’ll be the backbone of our site team, assisting with the day-to-day running of projects under the Site Manager’s guidance. From unloading deliveries to keeping the site tidy, you’ll pitch in across the board to ensure we meet our quality and safety standards—helping create homes our residents can rely on. What You’ll Do: Support the team by assisting with general trade tasks, following company policies and safety regs. Help maintain top-notch quality by sticking to material and workmanship standards. Keep work areas clean and organized, and look after company tools like they’re your own. Hold keys for communal areas and meter cupboards, stepping up to provide access when needed. Liaise with clients, head office, and others to keep communication flowing smoothly. Coordinate materials—think loading, unloading, and making sure supplies are ready to go. Complete site paperwork accurately and on time. Stay safe by using the right gear and keeping the company van in good nick. Who We’re Looking For: You’re a practical, can-do person who’s happy to muck in and get the job done. We’d love to see: Previous experience in trades or construction—enough to know your way around a site. A full, clean UK driving license (a must-have). Some understanding of health and safety rules and how things work in local government or partnerships. Great organizational skills and a professional, friendly attitude. Comfort with basic tech like MS Office for keeping records. Enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to work solo or with the crew. Why Join Us?
