Job Summary
The Business Support Manager will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and seamless business operations, enhancing the overall experience for our clients and internal teams. This role will focus on improving internal processes, managing administrative tasks, and supporting senior management in driving the company’s strategic goals, especially in delivering exceptional student services and consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work Planning & Scheduling: Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient office operations.
• Resource Management: Organize and manage office resources to meet operational needs, including managing student files, arranging counseling sessions, and maintaining communications between departments.
• Client Communications: Advise on and handle all correspondence and inquiries related to student accounts, applications, sales, and service inquiries, ensuring clear and efficient communication in both Chinese and English.
• Process & Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to procedures related to student applications, correspondence, and internal policies.
• Operations Coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate office activities, ensuring that the team’s tasks are aligned with overall business goals.
• Cross-Department Communication: Serve as the liaison between teams, ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, and that information flows seamlessly.
Skills & Attributes:
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, particularly in a cross-cultural context.
• Ability to plan, organize, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
• Proficiency in office management and CRM software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the UK education system and university application processes is a plus.
Typical Entry Routes and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a business support, office management, or operations role.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Professional Qualifications: Experience in relevant professional qualifications (e.g., office management or business administration) is beneficial.
