Job Title: Data Strategy, Knowledge & Performance Manager
Location: Durrington (Worthing), West Sussex
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: circa £45,000

Job Overview:
1. You will be responsible for the implementation of an effective framework and policies for data management, including security, data sharing, and data collection, setting the data strategy for Procurement.
2. Proactive role that looks to think ahead of the “ask” to better support functional & business needs.
3. Continuously seek ways of improving the quality of data, the systems and databases used.
4. Responsible for developing and producing all report templates, data analytics, and insights to support the Procurement lifecycle.
5. Drive data compliance, ensuring alignment with legal, company, and internal governance requirements, and report on operational performance and compliance.
6. Ensure that the data that the Procurement Systems create is accurate and relevant.
7. Implement effective quality management and a best practice framework.
8. Collaborate with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement in data management and reporting.
9. Manage external procurement data sources.
About You:
1. Advanced IT skills – Microsoft Office suite to include advanced MS Excel and MS Access.
2. Desirable experience with Power BI, Qlikview and/or Tableau and building reporting suites.
3. Strong experience in data/information management, with knowledge of all relevant databases and systems and ETL toolsets.
4. Experience gathering requirements and relevant data from multiple stakeholders.
5. Experience working in utilities/regulatory environment preferable (e.g. UCR).
6. Knowledge of data extract, transformation, and load toolsets and effective application of their capabilities.
7. Strong experience working in data analytics, collating data across multiple sources and compiling reports.
8. Strong experience analysing qualitative and quantitative data to extract useful insights.
Package:
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home. We are offering a salary of circa £45,000 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
