Maxstoke Park Golf Club is seeking a General Manager who must be an engaging person with a hands-on approach to management & leadership and have entrepreneurial flair. The successful person will need to demonstrate skills to drive new member initiatives and other income streams as well as leading a small management team to deliver a high level of service to members and visitors.
Responsibilities
The day-to-day management of the Club and working with the Board and the various sub committees to deliver the Vision and Strategic Plan, with particular focus on:
* Customer experience to maximise the enjoyment and satisfaction of all users of the Club including members, visitors, and societies
* Income growth from all revenue streams including membership, societies, visitors and our food & beverage offerings
* Commercial control of the Club in line with agreed budgets
* Resource planning to deliver cost effective day-to-day projects and efficient support services
* Inspiration and leadership of all staff by setting a high standard of service.
The position will also work closely with the Course Manager to ensure the course and practice facilities meet the expectations of members and visitors to the Club.
Qualifications
Ideally Business Related degree or equivalent with experience of working in a sports business. Knowledge of golf will be helpful.
